- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE � THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT�S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD PURCHASE ORDER TO AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES INC. NIST SRD 1A AND WILEY SPECTAL LIBRARY FILES. The U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Professional Services Acquisition Unit intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order (PO) through GSA to Agilent Technologies Inc., 2850 Centerville Rd. Wilmington, DE 19808 for two software licenses. The software subscription service is for NIST SRD 1a spectral library files and the Wiley spectral library (12th edition or newer).� The software subscription function is to search against the libraries to ascertain a chemicals potential identity from chemical fragments. The software subscription must be delivered and installed on existing instruments no later than (NLT) 28 days from award, with an estimated value of $30,000.00. This procurement will be issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 8.405-6 limited source, only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
