Description
The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) anticipates a requirement for AN/AVR-2B items NSN 5860-01-511-8345, Sensor Unit SU-130B, NSN 5865-01-514-2857, Signal Comparator CM-493B, NSN 5998-01-555-6985, Detector Board CCA, NSN 5998-01-555-7075, Processor Board SCM CCA, NSN 5998-01-555-7083, Power Supply CCA, NSN 2510-01-598-1459, Sensor Unit Housing, NSN 5998-01-555-7243, Processor Board CCA, NSN 5998-01-555-7358, Connector Board CCA, NSN 6130-01-560-1699, Power Supply CCA, NSN 6150-01-556-4305, Sensor Unit Internal Cable Harness, NSN 6150-01-556-4310, Signal Comparator Module, and NSN 5810-01-561-3121, Electronic Key Management Sys, as well as providing engineering software services support, over a span of 5 years. The AN/AVR-2B Laser Detecting Set (LDS) is a passive laser warning system which receives, processes and displays threat information resulting from aircraft illumination by laser.� The LDS responds to laser associated with laser range finders and laser guided weapons.� The LDS consists of one signal comparator module CM-493B, four or six identical sensor units SU-130B, and security key.� CM-493B is an item specially designed to correlate information from two or more signals when installed in an appropriate circuit, for similar items not having modular characteristics.� The SU-130B is an item which detects, identifies and characterizes laser radiation.� Information regarding threat type is generated and passed on to the comparator module, the security key holds the threat data in the comparator.� The current source of supply is Danbury Mission Technologies (DMT), 100 Wooster Hts, Danbury, CT 06810-7509. The Army does not own or have access to a complete technical data package defining the manufacture and acceptance testing of these items, nor can it make it available to any other organization.� Only the original manufacturer, DMT has the complete technical data package. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the above source or a statement from the above source demonstrate that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army.� Successful supplier may be required to warrant that these items supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army.� This market survey does not guarantee a contract by the Government.� Responding suppliers are asked to indicate their size status in relation to the applicable NAICS code 33451 and size standard 750.� For more information contact Allison Hoelterling allison.a.hoelterling.civ@army.mil.� No telephone response will be accepted.� INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC IN ARMS REGULATIONS: The TDP for this acquisition is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All technical documents for this item include but is not limited to, test plans, test reports, drawings and specifications contains information that is subject to the controls defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR). This information shall not be provided to non- U.S. persons or transferred by any means to any location outside the United States Department of State. A company wishing to receive the TDP must have an active status in the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Certification Program (JCP), and must complete the attached NDA. Please email our central inbox DLA_APG_SSA_Posting_Request@dla.mil with the Notice ID (DLA-Aberdeen-23-055) in the subject, the completed and signed NDA attached to the posting, and a copy of your company�s CAGE verification in SAM (System for Award Management). Once the Government has received your NDA, and your company CAGE has been verified to have active status in JCP, we will upload the TDP to DoD SAFE https://safe.apps.mil/. You will then receive an email from DoD SAFE site with a link to the package ID and a password. The TDP may contain drawings in a C4 format.
