Description

Special Notice: �In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Business Center (BC), Acquisitions Division (AD) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award one (1) order for the procurement of one (1) each Portable X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzer and one (1) each Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy Analyzer directly from SciAps, Inc. �SciAps, Inc., is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of these analyzers and maintains all the manufacturing data as proprietary information. � Interested parties must evince the possession of 1) the manufacturing data necessary to produce these items or items that perform in an identical manner and 2) authorization from SciAps, Inc., as an authorized reseller or distributor. �Alternative products may be offered for consideration, however any alternative analyzer(s) must be 1) portable/handheld; 2) capable of instantaneous analysis of soils, regardless of condition or area, 3) be capable of identifying and analyzing the following elements: Lithium (LI), Berylium (Be), Boron (B), Carbon (C), Flourine (F), Sodium (Na); and pXRF must include at least Magnesium (Mg), Aluminum (Al), Silicon (Si), Phosphorus (P), Sulfur (S), Potassium (K), Calcium (C), Titanium (Ti), Chromium (Cr), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Cobalt (Co), Nickel (Ni), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Arsenic (As), Selenium (Se), Strontium (Sr), Rubidium (Rb), Zirconium (Zr), Niobium (Nb), Molybdenum (Mo), Silver (Ag), Cadmium (Cd), Tin (Sn), Antimony (Sb), Barium (Ba), Tantalum (Ta), Thallium (Tl), Lead (Pb), and Bismuth (Bi). � The USDA FPAC BC-AD does not own and cannot assist or facilitate interested parties� possession of the manufacturing data or authorization as a reseller or distributor. �FPAC BC-AD intends to issue an order for these items on or about (OOA) 26 June 2023. � �
