Description
The Naval Air Systems Command intends to competitively procure a Forward Looking Infrared System (FLIR) for the CH-53K program. The tasks to be performed by the contractor includes: non-recurring engineering, Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) implementation, engineering support, program support, production, testing, equipment, logistics, material, hardware and software kits for FLIR systems and system components, tooling, technical data, and installation support. The Government expects to select one Offeror using full and open competition on the basis of its proposal providing the ""best value"" to the Government, all factors considered, as outlined in the solicitation.��The potential contract types may include�Firm Fixed-Price, Incentive or Cost based. Final contract types will be published in the formal solicitation. Estimated solicitation release date is 1Q FY24. The Government plans to hold at least one industry day in support of this solicitation and will be announced separately. The place of contract performance is expected to be at the contractor�s facility.
