- Description
- The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) has a requirement to construct and complete access roads, construction and maintenance pads, and foundations.�The principal components of work include installing six (6) maintenance and construction pads located in rice fields and foundations for sixteen (16) engineered steel monopole structures, constructing access roads, and installing culverts or culvert bridge at five (5) locations.�� This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $45.0 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The project location is in Beale Air Force Base, Yuba County, CA. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about June 22, 2023. The forthcoming solicitation contains Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Therefore, the solicitation attachments are not publicly releasable on SAM.gov. Prospective Offerors must follow the CUI procedures that will be posted with the solicitation and request the documentation via email to Jolene Daoud, Contract Specialist at Daoud@wapa.gov after release of the solicitation. No phone calls will be accepted. NOTE: The Buy American Act applies to the solicitation. Refer to FAR Clause 52.225-9 (Section I) and�FAR Provision 52.225-10 (Section L) if any non-domestic material will be proposed. Bidders must�identify any non-domestic materials (not manufactured in United States) included in their bid. Please�check with your suppliers and subcontractors to verify whether or not their quotes include non-domestic�material.
