Description

REPLACE O'FERRALL HOUSE ASPHALT ROOF - NATCHEZ, MS PEPC 116692 CONTRACT TYPE: FIRM-FIXED PRICE (MINOR CONSTRUCTION) PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 90 Days after Notice To Proceed ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE BETWEEN $25,000 and $100,000. SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for the replacement of the asphalt shingle roof of the Natchez National Historical Park's O'Ferrall House located at 217 O'Ferrall Street, Natchez, MS 39120. Roofing work consist of, but is not limited to, demo existing roof covering and underlayment down to existing sheathing. Repair/replacement of ~20 SF rotted and/or missing 6-inch fascia board. Replace ~500 SF of rotted decking. Install ice & water shield, felt underlayment, metal flashings and drip edge, and ~62 squares of new 3-tab asphalt shingle roof. Also install ~75 LF of new 5-inch aluminum gutters and downspouts. Workmanship and Manufacturer's Warranty that comply with stated requirements. NAICS CODE: 238160 Roofing Contractors SIZE STD: $19 in millions of dollars, average receipts SET-ASIDE: 100% Total Small Business (SB) PROCUREMENT METHOD: Solicitation and award will be conducted IAW FAR PART 13 - SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION PROCEDURES and PART 36 - CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: definitization of equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts will be IAW FAR 52.243-5 CHANGES AND CHANGED CONDITIONS. No agency specific additional policies and procedures exist. BASIS OF AWARD: Best Value based upon price and other factors (Installer Qualifications, Past Performance and Warranty).
