- The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 13.106(b) to obtain temperature Monitoring for equipment currently in place manufactured by SafePoint Scientific. Period of performance (estimated): 6/15/2021 through 05/31/2022 Basic description of the requirement: SafePoint Scientific is the manufacturer and developer of their proprietary temperature monitoring equipment, and the sole authorized provider of maintenance, service and support. SafePoint sells monitoring services for their specific monitors and has the rights to the firmware and updates needed. Place of Performance: Bath VA Medical Center 76 Veterans Ave Bath, NY 14810 The NAICS code for this requirement is 334290- Quality Control Refrigeration and Air Circulating Equipment (Size Standard $22 Million). Intended Source: GE HEALTHCARE 3000 N GRANDVIEW BLVD W443 WAUKESHA, WI 53188 DUNS: 073838534 THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement Tuesday June 6th at 14:00 Eastern Standard Time (EST). The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses from responsible sources will be considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
