MOD-BIT ROOF REPLACEMNT FT BARRANCAS VISITORS CTR PMIS 310645 PEPC 86006 SOLICITATION AMENDMENT 0002: QUOTATION response due date postponed ONE WEEK or until further notice. NPS response to RFIs will soon be published in GPE and notice will establish a solicitation response time that will afford potential offerors a reasonable opportunity to respond. The organized site visit held on Tuesday May 23, 2023 had a good turnout with nine (9) prospective contractors represented. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: FIRM-FIXED PRICE CONTRACT FOR MINOR CONSTRUCTION TO REPLACE COMMERCIAL FLAT ROOF ~1794 SF BIT MOD SYSTEM (BASE BID) AND SKYLIGHTS REPLACEMENT QTY 2 (ADDITIVE 1). ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE BETWEEN $25,000 and $100,000. The work includes, but not limted to, all material, labor, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to tear down and dispose of the existing roof system, prepare substrate for underlayment/insulation and installation of new roof system TWO-PLY STYRENE-BUTADIENE-STYRENE (SBS) MODIFIED BITUMINOUS MEMBRANE ROOFING SYSTEM meeting contract documents (or approved equal) IAW clause at 52.236-5, Material and Workmanship. Work may also include SKLYIGHTS replacement.
