- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Occupational Training Instructor-Certified Nurse Assistant Program Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Bryan, Texas. The NAICS Code is 611310 (Size Standard: $34.5 million). �All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and in compliance with all Federal and State policies and regulations. The contractor will provide services in accordance with the Statement of Work. The contractor shall not be a self-employed individual or individual employed by a post-secondary institution. The contract must be between FPC Bryan and a post-secondary institution, vocational training school or industry-based school. The awarded contract will be for approximately 15 inmates each performance period. �The base period is effective date of award through twelve months from EDOA, with four additional 12-month option periods, for a total of five years.� The occupational education program must fall under the provider�s umbrella of accreditation and lead to transferrable credits resulting in an A.A.S. or A.S. degree. Providers must be accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. ��Providers must be listed with the US Department of Education and able to receive/provide federal government financial aid/assistance to their students https://ope.ed.gov/dapip/#/home� The BOP is looking for an entity to complete a Certified Nurses Assistant Program for certification in a 12 month period according to the syllabus provided by the contractor. Typically, the contractor will provide services Monday through Friday, for 7 hours daily, between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm, excluding Federal holidays; other days/hours may be implemented if necessary to meet program requirements and these days/hours may be adjusted to meet the needs of the institution. Any breaks in service, including lunch breaks, will be unpaid. (Specific dates for the classes will be determined by the Supervisor of Education and the contractor). It is estimated at 15 students per 12-month period. The sessions are on a requirements basis; therefore, schedule and sessions can change.� The Government contemplates awarding a requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the forthcoming solicitation. A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 2023 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.sam.gov.� �Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.
