Description

Subject: Notice of intent to award a sole-source contract to Monaco Enterprises, Inc. FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source (except brand name) The United States Army Garrison (USAG), Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) and the Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at West Point, NY intend to negotiate on �a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements to procure biannual inspection, testing and preventive maintenance tasks to the Monaco D-21 Central Receiving and Reporting System. The objective of this requirement is to provide Preventive maintenance of the system hardware and software, including technical support and emergency repair. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract, and is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract is for Monaco Enterprises, Inc. �The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The Mission Installation Contracting Command - West Point on behalf of the United States Military Academy (USMA) � Directorate of Emergency Services intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to (Monaco Enterprises, Inc., Spokane Valley, WA 99216-2149) for Preventive Maintenance and Inspection Services. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621 with the associated size standard of $25.0 M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to meet all aspects of the requirement. Responses should be addressed to, Ms. Dayanna Wallace at Dayanna.Wallace.civ@army.mil no later than 1000 hrs. EDT on Friday, 09 June 2023. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
