Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Navajo Area Indian Health Services (NAIHS), Inscription House Health Center intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed price contract with FLAGSTAFF EQUIPMENT COMPANY, 500 N GRANT ST, FLAGSTAFF, AZ 86004 to provide PM service, maintenance, repairs and supplies of utility equipment; *Bobcat loaders (1 big bobcat loader and 2 small bobcat loaders), utility terrain vehicle, snowplow attachment, riding lawnmower, etc. on an �AS NEEDED BASIS�. Sole Source authority cited FAR 6.302-1(b)(1); Only one source is capable of providing the supplies and services required at the level or quality required because the supplies and services are unique or highly specialized. �Due to the particular requirements of this solicitation, the proposed vendor meets the needs of the requestor which are most advantageous to the Government in terms of economy, efficiency, reliability of services. Therefore, FLAGSTAFF EQIUPMENT COMPANY is the only vendor capable of fulfilling the requirements of Inscription House Health Center. The proposed contractor shall Preventative Maintenance Services, repairs, and supplies on identified Utility Equipment for Inscription House Health Center, Highway 98 & Navajo Route 16, Tonalea, Arizona 86044 on an ""AS NEEDED BASIS"".� This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of: Janice Martinez. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Last day to provide affirmative written response is June 7th, 2023, 10am MST. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
