- Description: To perform refuse and recycling removal services for the Watervliet Arsenal (WVA). Services shall be performed in accordance with commercial standards, local, state and federal laws, Army Regulation 420-1, and the requirements in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) # 23PWO14. Specification and any qualifications required: The contractor shall provide collection and disposal services for the following types of waste generated by�WVA; Commercial Waste (municipal solid waste); Industrial Waste (nonhazardous); Recycling (single-stream, commercial and residential). Quantity: 1 Unit of Issue: Lot Destination information: F.O.B. Destination Delivery: 1 Base year plus 2 option years. Issue date of solicitation: 26 June 2023 Quotes due: 09 June 2023 by 4:00pm to christopher.k.battiste.civ@army.mil SAM Notice: Recommend including the following to bring it to any potential offeror's attention that registration in SAM (System for Award Management) is necessary and may reduce time to award if a vendor isn't registered or registration isn't current. ""In order to be eligible for award, the successful offeror's System for Award Management (SAM) Registration must be active and include representations and certifications."" The project intends to follow the sustainable acquisition principles of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 23, as applicable. The proposed contract is set aside for HUBZone small business concerns, Offers from other than HUBZone small business concerns will not be considered. This solicitation will be issued electronically, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Upon release of the solicitation, it will be available on the SAM website at sam.gov and will be listed under W911PT23Q0058. CAUTION:This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of offers may render your offer nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
