- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. This is for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is voluntary. The United States Air Force (USAF) does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. 1. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for a Design-Build effort for Restricted Access Space Renovation. The project is limited to approximately 1,900 square feet (SF), located on the First-Floor level to meet the requirements of ICD/ICS 705-v1.5 criteria. The overall scope involves renovation, demolition, modernization, and repair of the space. The 377 MSG/PKC at Kirtland Air Force Base seeks sources that have knowledge with regard to meeting ICD 705 requirements. Scope of work will include the design, coordination, demolition, construction, and renovation within this project. Specific detail, standards, and specification to be determined if a solicitation is posted at a later date.� 377 MSG/PKC anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. The effort is expected to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. NAICS code is anticipated to be 236220, size standard $39.5 Million. The anticipated magnitude is $1,000,000 to $1,500,000. This Source Sought seeks to look for firms capable of completing a Design-Build (DB) execution of the project.� 2. INSTRUCTIONS: All Firm�s response to this Sources Sought shall be limited to 10 pages and shall include the following information: 1.� Contractor�s name, address, point of contact, phone number, e-mail address, CAGE, DUNS, and website (if applicable). 2.� Contractor�s small business status (small business, small-disadvantaged business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, economically disadvantaged woman-owned small business, woman-owned small business, or HUBZone). The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision. 3.� Provide a list of at least two examples of same or similar work performed by your firm in the past 5 years of same or similar size, scope, magnitude, and complexity as the �Restricted Access Space Renovation� requirement. Projects similar in scope would include Construction efforts utilizing ICD 705. Provide documentation demonstrating experience for projects of similar type projects.� Each project must include the name, title, project role, brief description of the project, e-mail address, and telephone number of at least one reference. References may be used to verify project size, scope, dollar value, percentages, and quality of performance. 4. Documentation from the firm�s bonding company showing current single and aggregate performance and payment bond limits. Indicate whether the firm can bond to the estimated construction price range of this project. The effort requires the Contractor ensure 100% bonding for the effort. Small Businesses are reminded under FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting; they must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with the firm�s own employees for general construction-type procurement. Include the percentage of work that will be self-performed on this project, and how it will be accomplished. Contractor�s interested and capable shall submit responses no later than 1200 Mountain Daylight Time on 08 June 2023, and addressed to the Contracting Specialist, Ms. Stacey Lee, at stacey.lee.2@us.af.mil AND the Contracting Officer, Ms. Maria Chavez, at maria.chavez.7@us.af.mil.
