- PURPOSE: This is a Request for Information(RFI)/Sources Sought announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement. The NCO 15 Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP), Contracting office is conducting market research only to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and is issuing this Sources Sought notice for PA equipment for a Lancaster Texas location: The objective of this procurement is to provide and install PA equipment throughout the production floor and warehouse that will be tied to four unique hand-held radios for emergency use only. The equipment shall consist of seven enclosers scattered through the facility that will house the Motorola XPR 5350E or equivalent and the necessary accessories to power and send signals to an individual 40-watt external speaker for each location Additionally, there will be a yellow LED strobe light that will come on when broadcasting the message at each location. There will be seven locations for speakers, five for the production floor and two in the warehouse area. To initiate the message, four Motorola XPR7550E or equivalent handheld radios shall be purchased and programmed to work with the XPR 5350E stations. Vendor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment (lifts or booms) to provide installation and programming of PA equipment (turnkey installation) PRODUCT DETAILS: To be considered vendors shall be considered either a; Manufacturer of the item An Authorized Distributor of the Manufacturer for the item An Authorized Distributor of a Reseller who is an Authorized Distributor of the Manufacturer of the item and can provide a Letter of Authorization from the Manufacturer showing them as an Authorized Distributor Offers are not being solicited at this time. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request for information. Vendors are required to address the following questions to be considered a viable source for future needs; Are you a manufacturer of the Item being requested? Yes or No If not the manufacturer: Can you provide a letter of authorization from the manufacturer showing you are a Authorized Distributor of the manufacturer? Yes or No Can you provide a letter showing you are Authorized Distributor of an Authorized Reseller who can provide a letter showing they are an Authorized Distributor of the manufacturer? Yes or No Any responses to this Sources Sought notice must include answers to all of the above questions in order to adequately assess the capabilities of the marketplace in relation to the requirements of this procurement.
