- ITEM NAME:� Valve, Linear, Direct NSN:� 4820-01-193-6793 QUANTITY:� 183 (with 100% option) END ITEM:� Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactitcal Trucks (HEMTT), all body types, (ABT) M977, M978, M983, M984, M984A1, M985 DESCRIPTION:� A manually or power operated valve having three or more ports.� The direction of the flow through the various ports is controlled by either one or more reciprocating slides or spools with recess areas which mate with ports in an integral or replaceable ported sleeve, or one or more poppets.� It is designed to change the direction of fluid flow from one valve port to another. This notice is not an open solicitation (i.e., an invitation to bid or a request for proposal). The Government does not have technical data for this item. Qualification testing and evaluation is required to become an approved source.� Source approval does not guarantee business; qualifying as an approved source only provides the opportunity to compete on future solcitations.
