- A Sources Sought is a market research tool being used to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. The intent of this Sources Sought synopsis is to identify all small business, including qualified 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZONE), Woman Owned small business, and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small businesses, for the requirement described below.� The scope of work requires Scale Calibration and Corrective Maintenance of Scale Equipment for Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DLA DS) locations within the Continental United States and Alaska.�(See Attachment 1 - PWS Scale Calibration) Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Synopsis, the Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition is in the Government's best interest. The Government intends to solicit proposals on SAM.gov and award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Time and Materials contract with a period of performance consisting of one (1) 12-month base period and two (2) 12-month options. The total contract length shall not exceed three (3) years. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance). The size standard of this NAICS code is $34.0 million. There is no solicitation available at this time. If an unrestricted solicitation is issued, all responsible firms, including small businesses, are eligible to submit a proposal in response to an unrestricted solicitation.?� SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:� Interested firms matching the categories referenced above must submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 3 pages in length, single-spaced, 12-point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services. This documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: (1) Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), Unique Entity ID (UEI) and/or Cage Code and statement identifying small business category and status of your small business classification.�Confirm your company is actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) SAM.gov. Note, this registration is mandatory to receive any resulting contract. (2) Relevant experience within the last five years, including any contract number(s), and Government/Agency or firm point of contact (POC) and current telephone number for the POC. Identify if you were a subcontractor and the work you actually performed as the sub-contractor. Company sales brochures or marketing packages will not be considered. (3) Confirm in a statement that your company has reviewed the draft PWS and the various site locations in Attachment 3 - Locations. The government is requesting this confirmation to ensure respondents are aware of the Scale Equipment and the Site Locations in this requirement. The submittal package must be emailed to brandon.awkerman@dla.mil with �Sources Sought Scale Calibration and Corrective Maintenance of Scale Equipment� in the subject line.� The submittal package must be received no later than 3:00 EST on June 9, 2023.� LATE RESPONSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. A response to this Sources Sought will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement, nor will it result in your firm's name being added to a plan holder's list to receive a copy of a solicitation. The Government WILL NOT provide a debriefing on the results of the survey.� No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought Notice or any follow-up information requests.� All information submitted will be held in a confidential manner and will only be used for the purpose intended.
