- Description
- DLA Aviation intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 13.5. This is notice of the Government�s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), other than full and open competition and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria. Description of requirements: One (1) CNC Rotary Surface Grinder in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 23-35-1102 dated 14 March 2023. Performance period/completion 450 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection will be at Origin, and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is USN SRF (SRF-JRMC), Yokosuka-shi, Kanagawa-ken, Japan 238-0001. The complete technical data package VIBB 23-35-1102 including machine, IUID Tags, Rigging, Installation, Foundation, and Training requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation. THIS IS A SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. RFQ SPE4A8-23-Q-0033 is anticipated to be issued on or around 15 June 2023. A copy of the written solicitation will be available via the DLA DIBBS website at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations.
