- Notice of Opportunity:�Blue Grass Army Depot Industry Day 1. Announcement � � �a. Opportunity. The United States Army Materiel Command is launching a broad scope industrial opportunity at Blue Grass Army Depot (BGAD) in Richmond, Kentucky. This business prospect encompasses the opportunity to utilize a diverse site with infrastructure capable of supporting industrial operations. � � �b. Headquarters US Army Joint Munitions Command is seeking industry interest in establishing a potential new expanded mission, and/or production capabilities at the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP). The facility is located within the BGAD, a Government-Owned Government-Operated (GOGO) facility, located in Richmond, KY.� � � �c. BGCAPP is a multi-billion dollar a year decontamination facility that has a dedicated power station and an excellent and independent commercial access point to the interstate system. As of September 2023, this facility will complete its mission. The facility will be restored to General Population Limit (GPL) and will be available for lease in late 2026. � � �d. In addition, BGAD has the capability to support a sundry of industrial, maintenance, and/or storage and distribution operations. These facilities are available for lease and utilization immediately. 2. Industry Day � � �a. The Government is planning to host an Industry Day during the late June and/or early July 2023 timeframe. During this event, interested parties will have access to BGAD industrial and storage facilities and the opportunity to receive information on the BGCAPP industrial site. � � �b. This opportunity is open to the United States Government and commercial entities. � � �c. Registration is required, which will be coordinated upon your entity's submission of interest, which is requested by June 9, 2023. � � �d.
