Description

This project is located in is located in the Green Mountain National Forest in Ripton, VT, in Addison County and is for the replacement of the culvert located on Forest Road 59 at milepost 4.9. The culvert replacement work shall include, shall include, but is not limited to, excavation, removal of existing culvert, layout and construction of the plate arch, construction of concrete substructures, stream simulation, roadway reconstruction, and approach work. The Contractor shall utilize a Government-furnished plate arch. The Contractor shall furnish all new hardware for the plate arch. This Invitation For Bids (IFB) is a Total Small Business set-aside. The magnitude of this project is considered moderate with an estimated price range of between $250,000 and $500,000. Please send all questions to the Contract Specialist, Michael Winstead, at michael.winstead@usda.gov no later than May 22, 2023.� Submitted questions with answers will be posted via an Amendment once available. This IFB is hereby amended as follows: The purpose of this amendment is to: 1) Correct errors in Section B.1, Schedule of Items, of the solicitation and Attachment 1 -�GMNF FR59-4.9 Culvert Replacement Schedule of Items. � �The following attachments have been uploaded and supersede the original documents: � �IFB 12441923B0003 GMNF FR59-4.9 Culvert Replacement Amendment 0001 � �Attachment 1 - GMNF FR59-4.9 Culvert Replacement�Schedule of Items Rev1 2) Extend the Bid Due Date from 29-MAY-23 to�02-JUN-23. 3) Add the following submittal instructions: Please email all bid documents, to include copies�of any bid bonds, to the Contract Specialist,�Michael Winstead, at michael.winstead@usda.gov.� This IFB is hereby amended as follows: The purpose of this amendment to the solicitation is to incorporate the questions received�and answers provided by the Government.��
