Description

The Qiagen QIAgility System is a compact benchtop instrument that provides rapid,fully automated high-precision setup of PCR experiments with ready-to-use softwarefor ease and convenience. The software provides step-by-step guidance forworktable setup and automatic calculation of all mixes, eliminating the need toprogram pipetting steps. The QIAgility�s automated PCR setup is rapid and reliableand eliminates manual pipetting steps that are typically prone to human error. Liquid-handling tasks are performed by the single-channel pipetting head, which providesfast transfer of liquids with various types of plasticware. The worktable features aflexible layout and is compatible with the PCR plates used with NWSS�s QiagenQIAcuity. Its liquid-level sensing, facilitated by conductive filter tips offers maximumsafety control. The design of the QIAgility delivers improved process safety. It has abuilt-in sensor that ensures that the instrument pauses when the hood is openedduring a run, protecting users from moving parts. The UV light ensures effectiveworktable decontamination and a HEPA filter that provides positive clean air pressurethroughout PCR setup. Its�simplified workflow minimizes human error by removingsample and reagents manipulation and also eliminates the need for clean rooms,�large workspaces and specialized environmental requirements. Small footprint that saves bench space and eliminates cross-contamination.
