- Description
- The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the personal services for Internal Medicine Registered Nurse (IMRN) services for the 51st Medical Group, at Osan Air Base, Korea.� The IMRN shall provide significant collaboration with the Internal Medicine Physicians in the research into making recommendations for improvement and implementation of sound policies and procedures throughout the MTF thereby enhancing the quality of care for all healthcare beneficiaries of the 51st Medical Group, Osan Air Base, Korea. Required qualifications include, but are not limited to: Degree/Education: The Internal Medicine Registered Nurse (IMRN) shall possess a Bachelor�s of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Foreign trained nurses are required to have a certification by the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS). Possession of a state licensure and taking the NCLEX does not substitute for this requirement. Licensure/Certification/Registration: The IMRN is required to have and maintain a current, active, valid and unrestricted license (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions) to practice as a RN. License must be recognized and accepted by the State of practice in accordance with governing regulations. The IMRN shall possess and maintain a current certification in either the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Course C or the American Red Cross CPR/BLS course as required by AFI 44-102, Community Health Management, Tables 1.1 through 1.6. The MTF will provide BLS refresher courses.� Nurse applicants must possess a valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) from one of the 50 United States, and/or the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or territories of the United States. The contractor must be in good standing, and under no restrictions, or investigations with the state in which a license is held or has been held, or the national licensure board, within the past 10 years. Experience: The IMRN shall have at least three (3) years of nursing experience including one (1) year at an Outpatient Family Practice Clinic within the last five (5) years. This requirement is for a one-year period of performance, 1 October 2023 � 30 September 2024, plus four one-year options, plus the FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.� The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 622110 and the annual size standard is $47M.� This solicitation package will be available on the SAM.gov website (http://SAM.gov/) approximately in June 2023.� No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.� The Contracting Officer is Ms. Kanoe Sing-Ching, (808) 438-5135, kanoelani.c.singching.civ@health.mil, and the Contract Specialist is Ms. Charis K. NOTICE TO OFFERORS All sources may submit a quote as applicable.� However, the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), may preclude the U.S. Government from granting Invited Contractor or Technical Representative Status to any offeror, for this requirement.� All sources submitting a quote, including U.S. sources, must already have OR confirm their ability to obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the ROK Government, and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws, including but not limited to, rules and policies regarding labor, taxation, and immigration.� If an initial quote does not fully demonstrate this authorization and capacity, it will not be further considered for award. Whether an offeror demonstrates this authorization and capacity shall be determined by the Contracting Officer.
