Description: 1ID has a recurring requirement for short-term cook support for Dining Facilities across Fort Riley when 1ID soldiers with military occupational specialty 92G, that regularly perform cook duties, participate in deployments, rotations and exercises. Most of these requirements cannot be predicted in terms of scope and duration. Due to their nature, the 1ID periodically does not have sufficient 92Gs to support both the garrisons Army Sustainment Plan and deployment mission needs. The resulting decrease in 92Gs available for food service operations in the Dining Facilities requires an IDIQ contract capable of providing short-term cook support for the Dining Facilities at Fort Riley.
