- The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center (JHQVAMC) Lamont and Veterans Way, Mountain Home, TN 37684 has a requirement to Renovate Domiciliary Recreation Room Bldg 160, project 621-23-107. The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to accomplish the work for Project 621-23-107, Renovate Domiciliary Recreation Room Bldg 160 in accordance with the specifications and drawings. The scope of work for this project will involve construction services that include renovations of N001 and N001A (approximately 2,900 SF) in accordance with applicable regulations, including infection control requirements of the hospital environment. This will include but is not limited to select demolition and renovation of architectural, interiors, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and communications/data as outlined in the project drawings and specifications. The period of performance for this project is 210 calendar-days after receipt of a Notice to Proceed. This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C section 8127 (d). NAICS code 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $45M. The estimated range of construction is Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This requirement will be procured per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14.101 - Sealed Bidding. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or around June 6, 2023, and close on or around July 6, 2023. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C ยง8127 (d). Only those SDVOSB s listed and viewable in the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database located at Veteran Small Business Certification (sba.gov). The VetCert database will be checked at the time of bid submission as well as prior to award. All bidders must also have an active listing in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The awarded contractor must also submit evidence of enrollment with VETS4212. In addition to the requirements as set forth in the solicitation notice (to be issued), the proposed contractor must also be determined responsible in accordance with FAR Part 9. The Contracting Officer will determine responsibility prior to any award being made. Questions related to this requirement will only be addressed in writing by way of email to the Contracting Officer at diana.grube@va.gov. The Project number, Project Name and Solicitation Number must be included in the subject line of all questions related to this requirement.
