Notice of Intent to Sole Source Award THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition & Property Operations. USFWS Division of JAO intends to award a firm fixed price contract for a RST(Rotary Screw Trap) and trailer under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source to: EG Solutions Inc 2870 SW Morris Ave Corvallis, OR 97333 The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 332999, All other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing. This procurement is for one (1) complete 5� rotary screw trap with custom trailer as a single source procurement issued to EG Solutions as a firm fixed price commercial supply contract. The Rotary screw trap trailers provided by EG Solutions are a unique and patented design that allow USFWS to deploy screw traps in operations to field sites to trap and monitor migrating species of fish in different remote areas. A rotary screw trap (RST) is a unique piece of equipment that is an essential tool for fish lifecycle monitoring. The design of the rotary screw trap enables monitoring and estimation of the abundance of various life stages of fish that inhabit and migrate a river system. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
