Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and no other solicitation will be issued. The mission of the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy (VAAA) Acquisition Internship Schools (AIS) Acquisition Intern Program (AIP) is to train and develop future acquisition professionals to meet VA's mission and address the challenges associated with recruiting, developing, and retaining sufficient acquisition workforce personnel. The AIP is an 11 12-month career development program, designed to develop entry-level acquisition professionals for the VA and other Government agencies. VA requires instructional services for COTS and GOTS courses, including Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Back-to-Basics (CON 1100, 1200, 1300 and 1400) equivalency courses for FAC-C Professional Modernization certification preparation, as well as instructional design and subject matter expertise support for the AIS participants.
