THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MARKET RESEARCH INFORMATION AND ACQUISITION PLANNING PURPOSES. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) AND A FORMAL SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE AN RFQ, CONTRACT, OR ORDER. Your response to this RFI will be treated as information only and will not be used as a proposal. No entitlement to payment, of direct or indirect costs, or charges to the Government will arise as a result of a contractor's submission of a response to this announcement or the Government's use of such information. Any contractor who wishes to identify their interests and capability to provide this service must respond using attachment 3, Sources Sought Questionnaire and may submit up to a 2 page capabilities statement. Responses are due NLT Noon, Mountain Time, 22 May 2023. Notification shall be e-mailed to brandon.biggerstaff@spaceforce.mil and riley.smith.3@spaceforce.mil. The Contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, and qualified labor necessary to configure and replace 21 Cisco Catalyst 2900 series 12 port switches with 7 new C9300-24S-A switches to include security management features in appendix A of the attached PWS. New switches shall be managed switches that offer (LC) type fiber connections unless otherwise required. Existing fiber panel connections are SC type connections. There are multiple locations with multiple 12 port switches within the same rack which means that only 7 new C9300-24S-A switches will be required as the old Catalyst 2900 series switches are consolidated and replaced. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and work necessary to replace and upgrade managed network switches throughout the fire alarm network in accordance with Attachment 2 - FARS Switch Upgrades SOW at Peterson SFB, CO.
