Description

This document sets forth the justification and approval of the use of one of the exceptions to full� and open competition allowed under the Competition in Contracting Act (CICA) of 1984. This contract� action is for the purchase of a particular communication device as described in Section III below,� to upgrade one (4) Hydraulic Passenger Elevator located at the Austin Federal Office Building, 300� East 8?? Street, Austin, TX 87801 The communication device to be acquired for this elevator modernization project is the MAD� MosaicONE VMS (�MAD�). All work performed under this contract shall meet or exceed the current� ASME-A17.1 Elevator Code and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards. �
