Description

NOTICE: This is a synopsis of proposed contract action in accordance with (IAW) FAR Subpart 5.2. This is neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice should not be construed as a commitment by the Government, but rather a synopsis prepared IAW FAR 5.207 for the purpose of notifying potential offerors of an upcoming solicitation for services. DESCRIPTION: Hill Air Force Base, AFSC OL:H/PZIMB intends to issue a RFQ for the acquisition of on-call technical telephone/email support, logistics, preventative/on-site maintenance, and calibration on Aeroflex & ADICTS systems under solicitation FA8227-23-R-9740. The anticipated period of performance will be one (1) base year plus four (4) optional years. The Aeroflex & ADICTS contract is required for the continued sustainment of technology infrastructure supportive of the 523/524 Electronic Maintenance Squadron (EMXS) mission to perform critical test functions important to the ongoing operational safety, suitability, and effectiveness of multiple Air Force weapon systems/subsystems. More detail information can be found in the draft performance work statement (PWS). Anticipated CLIN structure and unit of issue will be as follows. Identical CLIN structure will be used for any option periods (calibration will not be needed for Option Year 2).� Unit of issue for CLINs 0001 and 0007 (and associated option CLINs) will be Years. 0001� ADICTS - Technical Support (FFP) 0002� ADICTS - Material/Parts (FFP) 0003� ADICTS - Onsite Repair/Maintenance (FFP) 0004� AEROFLEX - Technical Email/Phone Support (FFP) 0005� AEROFLEX - Material/Parts (FFP) 0006� AEROFLEX - Scheduled Calibration (FFP) 0007� AEROFLEX - Calibration Cert (FFP) Attached draft documents posted: PWS Limited Sources J&A CDRLs Foreign participation is not permitted. RESPONSES: Interested parties may submit responses, by email, to Contracting Officer William Weiss at william.weiss.1@us.af.mil, and to Contract Specialist Tanner Nielsen at tanner.nielsen@us.af.mil. The Government encourages vendor feedback on the draft documents. The Government anticipates releasing the official RFQ on 25 May 2023; therefore, all responses to draft documents need to be submitted no later than 24 June 2023. Please submit questions as quickly as possible in order to allow the Government adequate time to answer.� All Q&A will be provided to the public through this posting.
