- This is a Site Visit / Sources Sought Notice from the Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at West Point, NY.� This notice is to inform prospective contractors of the upcoming Site Visit and the requirements associated with this project.� The MICC is hosting a Site Visit on behalf of the United States Military Academy (USMA) Army Band for Equipment / Audio / Video / Lighting Set-up, Engineers, Stagehands, and Riggers in support of the upcoming Summer Concert from 6/29/23 thru 09/05/23. �A Solicitation / Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be issued immediately upon completion of the Site Visit.� The Solicitation / RFQ will only be posted for a couple of days and will require a short turnaround time for submitting complete quotes and all applicable documents.� Preference will be given to those in attendance versus those that submit tentative offers in absentia. � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � SITE VISIT A Site Visit is hereby set for MAY 11, 2023 @ 2:00 PM (EST).� Anyone arriving late will need to submit their offer in absentia.� The Site Visit will last for approximately 1 hr � 1� and include a tour of the designated areas.� The tour will assemble in front of BLDG 685 (the parking lot area between BLDG 685 and 681) (see attached map -or- use the virtual on-line map listed below).� You may park your vehicle in the parking lot without the need for a special permit (only ONE vehicle per vendor allowed). � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �United States Military Academy � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �685 Hardee Place � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �West Point, NY 10996 For specific driving / mapping instructions, please go to https://www.westpoint.edu/admissions/virtual-tour, click �Skip Intro� (bottom right corner of screen), then click �Academy Tour� for direct step-by-step location. � Prospective contractors must bring at least ONE form of Government-Issued Photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID, etc.).� All contractors must contact the Visitor�s Center for information and special entry protocols into West Point (especially with COVID-19 and Monkey Pox).� They can be reached at (845) 938-0390 / (845) 938-0392 or go on-line at� https://home.army.mil/westpoint/index.php/about/visitor-information.� Failure to do so will prevent you from entering West Point.� Participation is limited to 2 persons per vendor.� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � * * * COVID-19 and MONKEY POX CONCERNS * * * ALL PERSONNEL must contact the Visitor�s Center to obtain information on any special entry protocols into West Point prior to arrival (no exceptions).
