Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE.� This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. US Coast Guard, Training Center Yorktown, VA intends to award a sole source award to Rolls-Royce Solution America INC, for the requirement of parts and services for the 1163/4000 Series Engine Parts and Windows 10 MCMS Upgrade. ROLLS-ROYCE SOLUTIONS AMERICA INC 39525 MACKENZIE DR, STE 100 NOVI, MI 48377-1602 UNIQUE ENTITY ID: HYGLK2BNFKB3 NAICS: 333618 OTHER ENGINE EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING PSC: 2815 DIESEL ENGINES AND COMPONENTS REFERENCE NR. 63100PR230000107 The US Coast Guard intends to establish a single award contract.� The Government intends to award to only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.� No solicitation will be issued.� This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $250,000.� Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
