Description
Subject: Hazardous Materials Abatement Construction (HMAC),� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) - FA5000-23-R-0009 ** This is a Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Hazardous Materials Abatement Contract that will supplement Civil Engineer�s (CE) Construction and Facility Management�s (CFMO) in-house capabilities to perform reoccurring Hazardous Material Abatement projects on an as-needed basis. The requirement primarily consists of the following major items as they relate to hazardous materials abatement projects. a. Hazardous Material Sampling b. Testing c. Abatement and Remediation necessary for the successful completion of each task order to be identified and issued. Contractors may be required to perform work not anticipated at the time of award, but within the original scope of work to include emergency planning and abatement when needed. The requirement may also include trades including demolition, repair of facility components, structural members, architectural features, systems and finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing features, system to remediation plans and abatement strategies. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, transportation, equipment, supplies, and appliances to accomplish Hazardous Materials Abatement (HMAC), Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Task Orders (TOs) in an expeditious manner. Individual TO projects will vary in size. In Accordance With (IAW) FAR 36.204(g), Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated price range of this IDIQ contract is between $5,000,000 and 10,000,000.�� � NAICS: 562910 This is anticipated to be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside with a size standard of $25M. PSC/FSC: F108 This is not a Solicitation, Request For Information (RFI), Request For Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotations (RFQ) or Invitation For Bids (IFB). Any information contained herein is subject to change; any updated information will be provided in future announcements and posted electronically on the Contract Opportunities section of the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://sam.gov/ This shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or contract award. The Government will not reimburse for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. Solicitation package will be available only through Electronic Posting System (EPS) and is anticipated to be posted on or about 20 May 2023 on the beta.SAM.gov web page. When posted all proposals will be due on or about 18 June 2023. Prospective sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered and posted by the agency. Paper copies and paper proposals will not be accepted. Once the solicitation is posted it will then become the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/ amendments to any and all documents.
