Description

This is a Request for Information for a tentative requirement to assist with the HPC Technology Refresh as further defined in the attached Draft Performance Work Statement. As part of its market research, NAVSUP FLC Norfolk, Mechanicsburg Office, is issuing this RFI to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested HPE Greenlake certified resellers capable of providing the requested hardware and services as further described in the Draft PWS. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. The Draft PWS describes only the currently contemplated possible scope of services and may vary from the work scope in a final PWS included in any Request for Proposals (RFP). The anticipated period of performance is 12 months after date of award with four 12 month options, and the contractor may be required perform work at the following location: Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC) 7 Grace Hopper Avenue, Stop 1 Monterey, CA 93943-5501 This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of NAVSUP FLCN market research. No RFP exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFP. Responses to this RFI are not proposals on which NAVSUP FLCN can issue any task orders. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP). The Government does not intend to award a Task Order based only on responses to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI marked �Proprietary� will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. NAVSUP FLCN will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFP, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this RFI. Please provide a 1�2 page capability statement, which includes any contract vehicles you are a part of (NASA SEWP, GWAC, etc.) and the contract number for each vehicle, any relevant information on the company, and brief descriptions of recent and relevant projects for tasks similar to those in the Draft PWS. You may also provide a marked-up version of the attached PWS with any comments on any necessary changes you see need to be made. Please submit your capability statment to Shaina Sollenberger at shaina.m.sollenberger.civ@us.navy.mil by 1300 EST May 5, 2023.
