- SYNOPSIS Repair and Calibrations of Thunder Scientific Humidity Generator and purchase of OEM Air Compressor System for existing Thunder Scientific 1200 Humidity Generator for EPA NVFEL The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL), Ann Arbor, Michigan, intends to purchase repair and accredited calibration for a humidity generator and to purchase an OEM air compressor system. The acquisition of this Commercial item will be subject to sole source competition and will be processed in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516, Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing with a small business size stand of 1,000 employees. The EPA has identified Thunder Scientific Laboratories as the only contractor able to meet the requirements, due to proprietary software. Repair and accredited ISO-17025 calibration of a humidity generator and purchase of an OEM air compressor system to include: Calibration of Thunder Scientific 1200 Humidity Generator: *The contractor shall provide ISO-17025 accredited calibration of Thunder Scientific 1200 Humidity Generator including adjustment of coefficients to optimize measurements to OEM specifications published. *The contractor shall provide ISO-17025 accredited calibration certificates traceable to SI. Repair of Thunder Scientific 1200 Humidity Generator: *The contractor shall repair the Thunder Scientific 1200 Humidity Generator to like new condition to OEM specifications. *The contractor shall complete repairs to ISO-17025 accredited calibration. Purchase of new ACS 1210 Air Compressor System for Thunder Scientific 1200 Humidity Generator: *The contractor shall provide model ACS 1210 Air compressor system for model 1200 (110-120VAC 50/60Hz). *The contractor shall provide 3 Cond AC Line Cord 1600W/13A. *The contractor shall provide 10� ACS Air Hose Assy (1200). *The contractor shall provide ACS-1210 Shipping Crate Assembly w/Foam The solicitation will describe and set forth all requirements for the repair and accredited calibration of the humidity generator and purchase of an OEM air compressor system. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. The full solicitation should be issued on or about May 17, 2023, on FedConnect.net.
