SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Fire Sprinkler Install Sub-basement The Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem, VA, seeks interested sources to provide construction services to perform the following requirement: Install a new fire sprinkler system to protect a new storage room for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd. Salem, VA. Scope of work will include: Drawings showing tie in and sprinkler heads to provide ample coverage for the new room. Installation of new pipe, fittings, control valves, flow switch, and associated items to make a fully operational system. Coordinate with Johnson Controls for alarm point to be tied into the existing fire alarm system. The Period of Performance (POP) shall be 120 calendar days from NTP. We contemplate using NAICS CODE 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors **Interested offerors may propose an alternate code** Interested offerors should reply to Shannon Brown using the title Fire Sprinkler Install Sub-basement Interested Offeror on or before 10AM EST on May 9, 2023. Please list company identifying information, including SAM Unique Entity ID and Small Business Socio-Economic Status. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The results of this notice will help identify a procurement strategy, including a set-aside, if appropriate. We plan to publish a solicitation on/around May 23, 2023.
