THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. � This is not a solicitation or request for quotes/proposals and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. �This is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award. �There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. �The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this sources sought notice. Military Sealift Command is seeking eligible businesses for the Regular Overhaul/Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) on the USNS ZEUS (T-ARC 7) commencing on or about 02 January 2024 for 120 calendar days. �The USNS ZEUS has a length of 513 Ft, a Beam of 73 Ft, Displacement 15.174 Tons. �Work to be performed at Contractor's facility on or about the above mentioned date. Area of consideration is East and Gulf Coast. �Estimated issue date of this solicitation is on/about 05 June 2023.� While the finalized list of work items is still under development, a list of the notional work package items is as follows: GENERAL SERVICES� General Services for the Ship Clean and Gas Free Tanks, Voids, Cofferdams and Spaces HULL AND STRUCTURAL Superstructure Preservation nspect and Clean Bilge Prepare, Prime, Paint Engine Room Bilge Sections Non-Slip Renewal Ladder Repairs Watertight Closure Inspection Bulwark Steel Replacement and Outrigger Removal Sewage Tank Preservation MAIN PROPULSION Automation and Propulsion Control System Inspection Thrust and Lineshaft Bearing Inspection ELECTRICAL Switchboard Cleaning Bow and Stern Thruster Motor Inspection Thermographic Survey Generator Cleaning and Inspection COMMUNICATION AND NAVIGATION TV DTS Service Antenna Maintenance AUXILLARY MACHINERY� Halon and CO2 Extinguishing System Fire Damper Inspection Port FWD Cable Drum Preservation� Inspect, Test and Cerify Machinery Space Cranes and Hoist� Sims Pumps Repairs Sewage Tank Preservation HABITABILITY SCBA Compressor Service Rescue Boat Annual Inspection Life Boat and Rescue Boat Davit Annual Inspection Life Boat Annual Inspection Liferafts Annual Certifications FWD Crane Replacement and Certification AFT Crane Replacement and Certification Stateroom and Shower Stall Replacement HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING Fan Overhaul Galley Ventilation and Gaylord Hood Cleaning DRYDOCKING AND UNDOCKING Propulsion Shaft Survey� Underwater Hull Preservation Docking and Undocking Anchor and Chain Inspection Rudder and Keel Examination Propulsion Shaft Bearing Replacement Overhauling Sea Valves Propeller Polish � All Small businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Certified HUBZone and Certified 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. �The Government will determine whether a set-aside acquisition in lieu of full and open competition is in the Government�s best interest. �The appropriate NAICS Code is 336611. �This office anticipated award of a contract no later than 4 November 2023. � It is requested that interested small businesses submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities package demonstrating ability to provide the requested items. �This document shall address, as a minimum the following: (1) Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE Code and a statement regarding small business designation and status; (2) The facility where the work will be performed (3) Partnership agreements with any large businesses. Submission of a capabilities statement is not a prerequisite to any future offerings but participation will assist the Government in tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry.� RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 12 May 2023 at 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.
