- Description
- On or about 15 May 2023, this office will issue Request for Quote (RFQ) for aerial spraying services for locations within the states of North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska, on the Missouri River.� The solicitation will close on or about 15 June 2023. This solicitation is restricted to SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. Site Visit: Site visit information if applicable will be issued with the solicitation. Project Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform aerial vegetation spraying via helicopter for the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS).� The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.�� Period of Performance: Period of Performance for spraying operations will occur between 15 August 2023 through 15 November 2023. Actual dates are dependent on threatened birds using the areas as well as frost/freeze dates or short photoperiods that cause vegetation to stop growing for the season.� In general, the desired dates will be August 21st through October 1st for North Dakota and September 6th through October 1st for South Dakota/Nebraska.� The above project description is for information only. Project scope of work is subject to change. NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 115112, Soil Preparation, Planting, and Cultivating, with a size standard for Small Business of $9.5M. All contractors must be registered and have an active and verified account in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive a contract award from any DoD activity.
