Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE FIRM FIXED PRICED (FFP) CONTRACT USING FAR PART 12 and 13 PROCEDURES. SUPPLY/SERVICE NEEDED: � An extended warranty package to cover necessary maintenance of the items listed below to ensure serviceability and certify functionality per original equipment manufacturers (OEM) standards. Air bag system Primary containment equipment to include the Class III BSC glovebox with airlock Filtration systems to include the NBC and HVAC systems UPS system Suspension between the box and the vehicle chassis Additionally, the extended warranty package shall include a single deployment of maintenance support within the contiguous United States (CONUS) to ensure all components listed above are fully operational in accordance with OEM standards. The duration of each maintenance support trip is expected to be about 1-3 days, except in real world contingency operations where the duration cannot be determined. THE GOVERNMENT INTENTS TO AWARD ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS TO GERMFREE LABORATORIES, INC UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR PART 13.106-1(b), THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE CONTRACT ACTION DEEM ONLY ONE SOURCE REASONABLE AVAILABLE. ALL INTERESTED AND/OR RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A CAPABILITY STATEMENT, PROPOSAL, OR QUOTATION WHICH SHALL BE CONSIDERED BY THE AGENCY.
