Description
Market Research DLA FEMA Generator Program - Third Generation� The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support- Philadelphia is conducting market research on Generators to support Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Relief Operations in order to protect against, respond to, recover from, or mitigate against threatened or actual major or catastrophic disasters and emergencies � both natural and man-made, including acts of terror. This acquisition would provide generators via lease/rental when the nearest FEMA generator fleet has a shortfall in inventory or does not have the generator sizes or quantities in inventory when an emergency response in required.� The Government intends to make multiple award five-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) supply contracts with post-award competition of delivery orders.� The Government requires contractors to provide prime rated diesel powered generators with all necessary fuel tanks and fuel lines (with proper connections) via lease/rental. Generators for lease/rental are in the following band sizes: Range 1: 15-60kW Prime rated Range 2: 61-100kW Prime rated Range 3: 101-200kW Prime rated Range 4: 201-400kW Prime rated Range 5: 401-704kW Prime rated Range 6: 705kW-1mW Prime rated Range 7: 1.1mW � 2mW Prime rated�� The Contractor is responsible for all transportation to and from all shipping destinations.� Delivery shall be to Incident Support Bases (ISB)/Staging Areas (SA), Generator Staging Base (GSB), directly to the point of need, intermediary locations, and/or consolidation points in CONUS, Alaska, Hawaii, Commonwealths (Puerto Rico and The Northern Mariana Islands), and Territories (American Samoa, Guam, and U.S. Virgin Islands).� This inquiry is issued for the purpose of market research only and the Government is in no way obligated to lease/purchase any material because of this inquiry.� No information provided in response to this inquiry will be considered binding between the vendor and the Government and the Government will not pay for any information submitted.� With these facts in mind, it is requested that you review the above and answer the questions on the attached survey.� The answers you provide will remain confidential.� Please return this survey to Mary Ryan at Mary.Ryan@dla.mil by COB May 9, 2023.
