- This sources sought notice (SSN) is part of market research. It is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute an official solicitation. The purpose of this SSN is to determine the availability of contractors to perform the required services. No task order will be awarded on the basis of responses received. It does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This sources sought notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the USCG is not at this time seeking quotes, and will not accept unsolicited quotes. Any subsequent solicitations will be released at a later date. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. The Government will use responses to this SSN to determine the acquisition strategy. The Deputy Commandant for Mission Support, Office of Security Policy, and Management (DCMS-34) requires contracted adjudicative service administrative support. Services are required in support of DCMS-34 security program management initiatives at Chesapeake, VA to support the Personnel Security Adjudication Services (PSAS). The Deputy Commandant for Mission Support (DCMS)-34 provides security policy and security management for the U. S. Coast Guard (USCG). The Deputy Commandant for Mission Support (DCMS-34), Office of Security Policy and Management is responsible for the USCG PERSEC Program. The DCMS-34 Chief Security Officer (CSO) has delegated authority in accordance with the DCMS Governance to establish component-level Personnel Vetting Program policies in alignment with DHS personnel vetting policies and authorities. The CSO is responsible for oversight of the DCMS-342 CG Security Policy Division which manages security, suitability, fitness, and common access card issuance decisions made by the CG Central Adjudication Facility (also referred to as the Security Center (SECCEN). DCMS-342 has implemented nationally mandated Trusted Workforce 2.0 initiatives which ensures personnel are continuously vetted. The Contractor personnel in the Statement of Work (SOW)will support these initiatives. This SSN seeks to find available businesses that have the interest and capability to meet the requirements outlined in the attached draft SOW. Please review attached notice for response requirement.
