Description

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai, India will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available.�� The purpose of this Indefinite Deliver Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price contract is for clearance expeditor/agent services to clear inbound and outbound diplomatic pouches to and from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport Cargo and deliver to U.S. Consulate General Mumbai located at C-49, G Block, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra East, Mumbai 400051, India. The contractor shall be notified not less than 24 hours in advance as to how many pouches are to be picked up. �Estimated pickup frequency is three times a week, 52 weeks/year with an average pickup of 500 kgs (in pouches). �Additional diplomatic pouch pickups or increase in weight to be shipped may be required on an ad hoc basis. The anticipated performance is for a base year, with one-year option period, if exercised by the Government.� All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.� The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. � The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. � The solicitation will be issued via the SAM.gov. Please see the RFQ for the actual date.
