- Description
- The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist by determining if this effort can be successfully competed through full and open competition.�The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all large and small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office, West (MRCO-W), JBSA, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to provide three (3) Gamma Detection System Control Units for patients of the Brook Army Medical Center (BAMC), JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas. Minimum Requirements: - All products must be FDA and TAA compliant - Must be a gamma system that provides remote functionality from within the sterile field - Must have the ability to detect a minimum of six (6) isotopes - Must have both wired and Bluetooth probes - Must have the ability to perform both target counts and 10 second counts remotely from any of the Bluetooth probes - Must not require any calibration or preventative maintenance - Must be designed for use with breast cancer, melanoma, prostate, and limited applications for cervical, head, and neck cancers and parathyroid procedures - Must have the ability to be configured to detect localized or systemic injections - Must be able to detect and filter I-125 and Tc-99 simultaneously - Must be able to provide individual counts for each isotope as well as filter indicating whether the user is close to injection or radio seed in real-time - Must run using AC power cord versus battery packs This is not a solicitation. Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparation or participation in this research.
