Description
THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9 Central Region, 1639 Medical Center Parkway, Suite 400, Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37129 will be soliciting a Request for Proposals (RFP) on or about 04/27/2023 for construction services for the following project: Project# 596A4-19-106 Upgrade Parking Garage Lighting and Replace Parking Garage Gates - Lexington VAHCS, Bowling Campus, 1101 Veterans Dr, Lexington, KY. 40502. SET-ASIDE: Total Small Business (SB) PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 NAICS: 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: $45.0 Million PROJECT OVERVIEW: The project will require the selected contractor to provide all resources necessary to accomplish and furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to completely prepare site for building operations as required per drawings and specifications at the Lexington VAHCS, Bowling Campus, Lexington, KY. 40502 for the above-mentioned Project # 596A4-19-106 Upgrade Parking Garage Lighting and Replace Parking Garage Gates. Work includes general construction, alterations, roads, walks, ceilings, lights, and necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items. Project involves renovation of existing entry islands, gates, and guard booth. See drawings for phasing. Electrical upgrades to lighting and directional signage. Plumbing work for new guard booth. Anticipated completion time from Notice-to-Proceed is 180 calendar days. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Apparent successful offerors must register in SAM; offerors must be visible in SAM.gov at the time of submission of their proposal. Failure to be verified in SAM.gov at the time of proposal submission will result in the proposal being deemed nonresponsive. Questions related to this requirement will only be addressed in writing by way of email to the Contracting Officer at Jeffery.ridenour@va.gov. The Project Number, Project Name, and Solicitation Number must be included in the subject line of all questions related to this requirement. No questions will be considered until the actual solicitation is released
