Description

This Is Pre-Solicitation Notice ONLY-Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) -Ft Polk has received a requirement for the oversight of the Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) Furniture Management Program from the United States Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Fort Polk LA, Directorate of Public Work (DPW) for Soldiers residing in Unaccompanied Personnel Housing (UPH) as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor would perform on site quality inspections of UPH furniture, be responsible for coordinating with customers for delivery and issue of UPH furniture, provide receiving reports to the Furniture Management Office (FMO), perform simple furniture repairs, and assemble/disassemble furniture. The contractor would maintain the life cycle replacement data base on all UPH Furniture, provide furniture storage operation, perform furniture inventories; redistribute furniture, turn-in furniture to DLA, receive, store, issue, and make direct exchange of used and/or new furniture, warehouse installation property including barracks furniture. Period of Performance will be a base of twelve (12), four (4) 12-month option periods. This acquisition is being procured as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The assigned North American Industry Classification Style (NAICS) code is 484210 �Used Household and Office Moving� with a small business size standard of $30M.� FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for this procurement.� It is anticipated that this requirement will be awarded as a single award, firm fixed-price contract. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is 08 May 2023. The solicitation and any amendments will be posted and available through the Government wide Point of Entry Beta Sam (https://beta.SAM.gov) as NO paper copies will be issued. Submission of quotes will be accepted via Beta Sam and electronic mail, however faxes are NOT authorized.� Interested parties should review the SAM.gov site frequently for any updates/amendments to this notice.� Additionally interested parties are encouraged to review their Duns & Bradstreet number, Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE code), ensure that certifications and representations are entered and ensure registration is complete and up to date in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov.� This PRE?SOLICITATION NOTICE is for INFORMATIONAL purposes and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any supplies or services.� NO reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information, if requested.� Consequently, NO solicitation will be issued at this time.� Therefore, NO award will be made as a result of providing this information.� This solicitation will be available at System for Award Management (SAM) website https://www.sam.gov.
