Agency: United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Contract Opportunity Type: Pre-Solicitation All Dates/Times are: Eastern Standard time, USA Classification Product Service Code: R497 � Support Professional � Personal Services Contracts NAICS Code: 541690 � Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services or 928120 � International Affairs Place of Performance: Washington, D.C., with up to 25% travel when needed Description USAID intends to issue a solicitation for a Personal Services Contract (PSC) for the position (Senior Gender Specialist), (GS-14) for USAID�s Development, Democracy, and Innovation Bureau (DDI), Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance (DRG) Center. The Senior Gender Specialist will provide support to the Washington-based DRG Center�s Evidence and Learning (E&L) team, joining a core group of technical experts, including the DRG Center�s Senior Gender Advisor, leading on integrating gender considerations into all of the Center�s work, including through: developing DRG policies and strategies; incorporating gender analysis into the design, implementation, and evaluation of DRG-managed programs and funds; developing and managing technical leadership activities and training; providing expert technical assistance to USAID Missions; implementing Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) activities; and supporting USAID's strategic, programmatic, and institutional efforts to implement its gender equality and women�s empowerment priorities. The duration of the contract period is anticipated to be a two (2) year base period with three optional one (1) year periods for a maximum duration of five (5) years. The solicitation will be published on System for Award Management (SAM). Interested parties are advised to periodically monitor this website for updates on this potential opportunity.
