Description

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) intends to issue a modification to the sole source purchase order to Udemy, Inc., 600 Harrison St., Floor 3, San Francisco, CA, 94107-1300, for an additional 5,000 licenses per year for option years 2 through 4 to the Udemy platform under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b).� The procurement will provide an online training platform that provides a variety of IT Software Developer training courses, maintains courses with current technology to match industry, flexibility with training and low down time for course updates, and training for the following languages (Java, JavaScript, Python), frameworks (React, Flask, Django, Redux), and database systems (PostgreSQL and mongoDB). After extensive market research, NGA believes Udemy is the only source reasonably available to fully satisfy this requirement. No competition is being sought. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. �Entities that believe it can meet this requirement may submit a written notification in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. �A determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
