Description: The Lincoln National Forest, Smokey Bear Ranger District has a requirement for the reconstruction of 1.5 miles of fence burned during the spring and summer of 2019.� This effort is for the reconstruction of the entire fence line and will be constructed of 4 strand wire fencing (top 3 wires barbed and the bottom wire smooth) to United States Forest Service Standards.� The existing fence wire must be removed from National Forest lands by the contractor.� The existing steel t-posts will be removed from the fence line and placed standing upright against a tree near where they were removed.
