Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) has a requirement for the support of hull and deck machinery on U.S. Navy ships. Hull and Deck machinery systems include vehicle launch and recovery systems, specifically for rescue boats, mission boats, and unmanned underwater and surface vehicles. Additional machinery systems in support of the fleet mission capabilities include stern ramps, stern doors and gates, anchoring, mooring, towing systems, cranes, lift platforms, and platform lifts. Trident Maritime Systems shall support these systems in a variety of in-service tasks including shipboard system assessments, troubleshooting and repairs, corrective and preventative maintenance, training, installation, engineering modifications and upgrades, and improvement of system reliability. ASQ/ANSI/ISO 9001:2015 standards apply. The contractor is required to maintain a CONFIDENTIAL clearance. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, it is the Government�s intention to procure these services as a sole source set-aside.� The solicitation (once issued) will be open to Trident Maritime Systems, who meets the requirements of the solicitation. NSWCPD seeks to award an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award type contract(s) with Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Firm-Fixed-Price ordering provisions. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 336611 (ship building and repairing), small business size standard is 1,250 number of employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this effort is R425. All Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. For further information and instructions, please visit www.sam.gov. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT ONLY. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) (along with any amendments) will be posted to https://sam.gov in the June/July 2023 timeframe and will close approximately 30 days thereafter. No CDs or hard copies will be provided. Offerors shall be required to submit technical proposals in accordance with the solicitation. Be advised that access to the website listed above is essential for obtaining updated documentation and information regarding subject procurement. All questions and answers to the solicitation will be posted to https://sam.gov in accordance with the solicitation.
