Description

The Army Contracting Command � Rock Island is issuing this pre-solicitation synopsis for W519TC-23-R-2045. This pre-solicitation synopsis is notice regarding W519TC-23-R-2045 for Repair Roof � Building 250 on the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Illinois. This requirement will be a 100% total small business set-aside. NAICS � 238160 Roofing Contractors Service Code � Z2QA Repair or Alteration of Restoration of Real Property This is a notice that a solicitation is anticipated to be forth coming and will have all the necessary documents, including scope of work. IAW FAR 36.204(e), the magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Performance and Payment Bonds are required for this project. The scope of this project consists of the repair and renovation of 4,800 square feet (s.f.) of an existing low-slope single-ply Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) roof over the two low bay areas of Building 250 on the Rock Island Arsenal. The area being replaced is divided into two separate 2,400 s.f. sections located over the North and South �low bays� of the building. The existing roofs have a history of leaking during high wind rain events. The new roofs will replace the existing EPDM and insulation, incorporate new roof trusses, roof drains, overflow drains, and associated drainpipe. New overflow drainpipe will be installed under the roof/ceiling assembly, run to the North and South exterior walls respectively, down along the inside of exterior wall, and out onto grade.
