Description: The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has the following requirement: NOTE: THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, NOT A SOLICITATION. SPECIFICATIONS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; THEREFORE, NO QUESTIONS OF A TECHNICAL OR CONTRACTUAL NATURE WILL BE ACCEPTED OR ANSWERED UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED. INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THIS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE This procurement is anticipated as a 100% set-aside for small business.� NAICS Code:� 237990.� Size Standard: $45 million The resulting solicitation,�W912P823B0041, will be issued as Invitation for Bid�(IFB) and resulting in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about 3rd Qtr, FY 2023. �Actual issue date and anticipated bid opening will be shown when the solicitation is issued. The work consists of widening the existing General De Gaulle Canal to a 45-foot wide by 5-foot high flume with a 1:4 earthen slope to top of bank for approximately 1300 linear feet from the Magellan Canal to the Algiers Outfall Canal; a new subsurface 36-inch by 58-inch drainage concrete arch pipe will be constructed along Sandra Street/Pace Boulevard extending from the General De Gaulle Canal approximately 1,100 linear feet; a new subsurface 36-inch by 58-inch drainage concrete arch pipe will be constructed along Indiana Street extending from the General De Gaulle canal approximately 900 linear feet; a new pile founded reinforced concrete box culvert canal 10-foot wide by 6.5-foot high will be constructed along Holiday Drive from the General De Gaulle Canal approximately 1,100 linear feet to Macarthur Blvd; a new pile founded reinforced concrete box culvert canal 8-foot wide by 4-foot high will be constructed along Holiday Drive from Macarthur Blvd approximately 400 linear feet to Vixen Drive. The estimated construction magnitude is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. The Government will not provide written paper copies of the solicitation.
