Description

Dale Hollow RMO Restoration Pre-Solicitation Notice PURPOSE: The Nashville District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) construction solicitation for the subject project. This is a Pre-solicitation Notice. This Notice is being issued for planning and informational purposes only. This notice is not a solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this Notice. The Scope of Work for this requirement will be available upon solicitation issuance. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Nashville District, anticipates a requirement for a firm fixed-price construction project to perform repairs and restoration for the waterline break that damaged a 1,000 sq/ft portion of the Resource Managers office at Dale Hollow Lake. This area needs to be dried out, damaged portions of the walls and ceilings need to be removed and replaced, damage to electrical fixtures need to be replaced, insulation installed, new waterline to be installed, and a mold test completed to detect and remove an existing mold. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the Scope of Work. This description is not intended to be all encompassing and is subject to change. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Dale Hollow Dam 540 Dale hollow Dam Road Celina, TN 38551 ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 30 days after contract award NAICS CODE AND SBA SIZE STANDARD: Y1JZ Construction of Miscellaneous Buildings, 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction, Size standard $45m PROJECT MAGNITUDE: This project will fall between $25k and $100k. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: 100% Total Small Business SOLICITATION AND CONTRACT TYPE: It is anticipated that from the Request for Quote (RFQ) Solicitation, the Government will award one (1) Firm-Fixed Price construction contract to the lowest priced offeror who meets or exceeds the scope of work. ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The anticipated release date for this solicitation is 3 April 2023.
